George & Angelina Owusu

Mr. and Mrs. George Yaw Owusu  are the Chairmen of the Board of the Owusu Foundation.
In 2002 Mr. Owusu founded EO Group in Ghana.  The organization focused on oil and gas exploration and production.  As its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Owusu was the major force behind the organizational strategy that brought Kosmos Energy, a Texas based Oil and Gas company to invest in Ghana's offshore oil exploration and production.   

Mr. Owusu served as Country Manager for Kosmos from 2004 to 2009 and presided over the most significant  oil discovery in Ghana's history, the renowned Jubilee field.

In 2008, the Government of Ghana awarded him the Nation's highest civilian honor, The Order of the Volta for his contribution in the area of developing Public Private Partnerships.  

Mr. Owusu is the founder of Mansa Capital, a private equity firm.  He is a highly sought after public speaker, guest lecturer and panel participant on the subject of the oil discovery in Ghana.

He is featured in the prize winning documentary Big Men directed by Rachel Boynton.  More information on the film can be found here.

Mr. Owusu's memoir, Jubilee Field, will be released in June 2017.

Mr. and Mrs. Owusu currrently reside in Houston, TX where they pursure their philanthropic interests.

They are also patrons of the Ghana-Houston Chamber of Commerce.
